How many lives left I have in this game?

I am gonna be half dead doing my Engineering Project logbook (40% of final grade), and presentation ( next Wednesday), and report (next Wednesday too).

After that, Maths test (next Thursday) is gonna take away my remaining life.

1 life - 1/2 life - 1/2 life = 0 lives...and then game over..

As a response to Betho's latest post...

Betho said: "The reason why I'm back??? Ask Alice...lazy to type here...:P"

Answer from yours truly: Because I am very good in persuading him. You have to thank me, those who missed him, because I persuaded him to come back!! Or else he will never spend money to come back and "rot here (according to him)".

Mood: bored
At: where there is internet - obviously the uni lab, how sad =(

Mou hadachi! Mou otona!

Hi everyone!

I am finally updating after a very very long time of not updating my blog.
I am gonna have to go without internet connection at my house for 3 months! OMGOMGOMG

Haih...

Really feel a loss without the internet connection because I will be disconnected from all the fun of downloading things. I still have a lot of media to download, mainly my Arashi media I need to catch up on, and Mika's new release soon. I am so out of touch because I just found out that Mika broke up with her long time boyfriend. Although I feel sad, I feel happy as well, cause I don't really like that guy. Mika's too wonderful for him.

But.....

After the exams, what am I gonna do without internet! I can't download my favourite shows. I have to come to uni for the main purpose of downloading things...

And..........

Today is my birthday!

Weeeeeeeeee!!!

Weeee~~~~

Weeee....

Don't know if I should be happy or not?
I am now considered an adult because I am not in my teens anymore. Cause it's 20, not nineTEEN.

Somehow rite, I am not in the mood to celebrate, because I have so much work to do.......Seriously, I am gonna get killed by Engineering Project. But Betho said I have to appreciate my busyness or else I will be bored like him.....

I am gonna be nice to myself this year and buy myself a computer! Buying it after the exam. Yay yay yay yay!!!!!!
This is the first time I am so nice to myself. Usually I don't buy myself anything at all. But since I am already 20, I need to treat myself to something. Hence the computer.

Plus I really need it anyway cause my computer is really ancient.

Well, I don't really know what is appropriate for a birthday post so this is really lame.

Till then,
Alice is signing out~~~

It's definitely not convenient when you don't have Internet access at home. I can't download anything, can't chat and definitely also can't do serious academic related work which requires you to go online....

So.....
I'm on hiatus until I get my internet connection back. Well that is unless I go online in uni, then you'll be able to hear from me or see me update something on this blog.

SO sad.....no internet. And I am starting to get busy with assignments and exams are coming soon.

What perfect timing for my relatives to come during end of May to June cause that's the time when I am most busy. So can't go shopping or to the beach with them.

This is the worst~~~~

She smsed to tell me that Sho-chan cut his hair. (She was watching live Fuji TV streaming off the Internet)

*information corner*This is Sho-chan @ Sakurai Sho from Arashi.
Responsible for the rap lyrics in all Arashi songs. Sports loser and scaredy cat.

Yes, yes, fangirls get excited over their idols cutting their hair. Including me. Except this is not the one I like the most, so I am not all as excited as her. Of course I wouldn't respond with much enthusiasm.

To this sms I replied:
"=.= majikayo... U sms me becos of this. Jot down what you wanna say and then go online and tell me after you finish watching."

*beep beep*

"Owh, okay."

Today is labour day and this morning I had to teach a peer tute class for foundation students in their first semester. The second class for Engineering Maths A. Last week was the first class. (I accepted the offer to be a peer tutor anyways).

How does it feel like?

Somehow I feel responsible for them and I know if they did not do well in their coming test this Saturday I would feel kinda disappointed and wonder if I teach properly. Good luck to them for the trigo test!

Somehow it seemed like many of the students in foundation needs help with their maths. I think that it's just because of the culture shock or something like that. First semester in college, I guess they'll just be trying to get used to the culture, thats why they couldn't really grasp the lesson. That was the case for me last time.

And since quite many students need help for their maths, they need peer tutors too. I'm teaching 2 classes and 5 students in each class, plus 2 more coming in for conics lessons. Riady my friend is also tutoring too. But have been quite a number of students texting me asking if they can join my peer tute class. The lecturer gave them my phone number +_+''. (I don't quite like my number being passed around like that and getting text messages like "Hi, I am interested to join ur tuition class...." and they dun even introduce themselves. How rude.)

Since there are already 5 students in each class and it wouldn't be efficient to have many students in a class, I had to turn all of them down. Feels kinda mean. Especially to those who asked nicely.

But what to do? I've been requested by the lecturer in charge of their EMA to find some more peer tutors to teach, but I've asked several friends and they said they are busy.

Which makes me think, I'm taking two classes and also have to cope with my homework as well. Am i chewing more than I could swallow? I really have to manage my time well then.

One thing which really makes me go "Hmm.. foundation students' style.." is some of them do not try to do properly the tute questions. Kinda lazy, right?. While I have to do their tute work and my work too. =''= They're asking things like "If I understand the basic things, will I pass my Engineering Maths?" Really sweat =''=

I've been asked to give them an extra class before they have their exam tomorrow. But I am busy + don't really want to + it's tiring. Now I understand my mom's tiredness in teaching for few hours straight. Should I give them extra class?

Now I kinda regretted telling them my MSN messenger address cause they are asking me if they can ask me questions online over IM. Double sweat. =''= Seems like I am like an EMA helpline.

Despite all that, it really feels kinda fun to be a peer tutor. But what's more important is I hope I can juggle my own studies well.

I really really wanna do well this semester. Really really.
