Mika Nakashima's SAMSARA photobook~

Weeee!!!!! Someone from the Mika Nakashima fan community was nice enough to scan the SAMSARA photobook, so I was able to download them...

The whole photobook would cost me an arm or a leg to have......thanks to the HK fan who scanned it for all of us poor fans. T.T so grateful...

The photobook is all high fashion and eye candy Mika. She's such a classy lady! She put in a lot of effort for the photobook, and it comes with a video which is a storyline. The storyline is in the photobook as well, of course, and it's written by Mika-san herself! Starring herself in 6 roles in the photobook.

These three are from SAMSARA ~ sirens..

These four are from SAMSARA ~ marionette and sorciere..
So nice rite! I love Mika!!!

Back from Sibu

Hi all, I'm back to blogging from the one week hiatus cause I've been holidaying in Sibu. And some holiday it was.

Most of you would know that there has been a flood for several days since (I forgot the date), a few days after I left for Sibu, in Sibu. There's flood in the ulu areas like Bintulu, Kapit etc etc. It's cause of the heavy rain and king tide. Sibu lies near to the Rejang river, lowland area, so it's heavily affected by rain and tides. Sibu would flood in some low areas even with monthly tides and continuous rain.

The first few days of visit to Sibu was okay, we went shopping and such, but if I am not mistaken, on the third day my family wanted to drive down to town for breakfast and my dad got a call from my uncle to inform us not to drive down to town cause the town area is heavily flooded. He said we would be stuck in a perpetual traffic jam and would not be able to get out of it. This is because of reasons which I will talk about later. My granny's place is quite 20 km away from town area and that's why we weren't quite aware of the flood.

Anyways, I am the driver for the whole time in Sibu! We needed two cars to go out at a time cause there were quite a number of us, so my dad drove his and I drove my aunt's car. Why I drive and not her is because:
She can't park well (including parallel and the normal straight type). =.=''
She said she wanted me to get used to the roads in Sibu.
I like to drive tiny car like kancil.

Ok back to the flood topic.

I got to see real flood everywhere for the first time! So sakai you might think, but this is not small scale kiddy type flood, but an adult scale 'worse is yet to come' flood among floods okay. Maybe some of you read newspapers and saw the pictures of the flooded areas in Sibu. What I saw was similar to that except that mine was live action show muahaha. Thank goodness that I actually only saw and did not experience the flood. The traffic was crazy for days since the flood. Many low lying roads were flooded up to knee level or higher, so many vehicles avoided those roads (except for large lorries and Hilux liddat. But some of these avoid the flooded road too cause you can't see which part is road and which part is drain, so if drive into the drain how?). For those who have lived in Sibu all their lives or long enough to know which roads are low lying and would potentially be flooded, avoided these roads. For those who did not know, drove into those roads and made a U-turn back when they came to portions of roads which were heavily flooded (even though those roads were one-way only).

I drove according to aunt's directions and avoided the flooded areas. Occasionally I had to make U-turns and drive through roads which were flooded around a foot deep. Apparently my dad wasn't too happy about me driving at flooded areas cause driving during floods is different from normal. Have to use first gear and drive fast through the flooded road or else will potentially mati enjin and then cannot restart. But good thing that did not happen to me, hehe.

Flooded houses were quite a sight. Some roads lie higher than the housing areas, so sometimes we would drive through unflooded roads with heavily flooded housing areas at 30kmph. I kinda feel sorry for those people living in those houses cause their homes are flooded until almost knee deep. They also park their cars by the roadside so that their cars would not be flooded until rosak. Some places look like a large lake.

Needless to say, plans for outings were quite ruined. But it's all right cause we're back with family and with good company. There're quite many stories to tell each other. And I bought some stuff for me to make me happy enough.
One shirt.
One blouse.
One pair of skirt.
One pair of pants.
One hairband.
One keychain. (actually two, but that's for someone else, so it doesn't count)

Seems so like a shopping list lah.

And I weighed myself at the mall and found out I gained 4 kg. Great. Just great. My granny said nice, good thing my mum fed me well =.='' but I tell my mum to scold me from now on if I eat too much.

Not forgetting to mention about the reasons why the traffic in Sibu is bad! You know right, in Sibu the drivers all don't pass the law test one. Or they passed but totally ignore it thereafter. This means driving in Sibu, you have to learn a whole new set of laws. Which means learn fast, learn well, and if you have a bigger car, the better!

Cutting into people's lines are very normal in Sibu, if you see only one or two cars in Kuching, you'll have to times that number you see by four. That is the number of impatient drivers you'll see cutting lines at the traffic light. Sibu drivers are also colorblinds who can't differentiate red from green. They stop their cars in the yellow box. During my one week of driving there, I've already seen three motorcyclists riding AGAINST traffic AT THE FAST LANE. And driving in Sibu makes me hate motorcyclists even more. They are totally oblivious to the fact that they are driving a puny two wheeled vehicle. This puny two wheeled vehicle is like a tomato and cars are like durians. Tomato langgar durian tomato get squashed, durian langgar tomato also tomato squashed.

These people in Sibu riding puny two wheeled vehicles pandang rendah I drive kancil kecil but if I hit them oso they sakit more than me bah. Hmph! Totally so behsong. I hon them also they macam dunno their own salah, still look back cool cool liddat. Wat the heck, stupid idiot riders!

Okay enough with that.

Everytime I come back from a trip to Sibu, I'll feel totally nostalgic, cause I had a good time there all the time, always. This time, my aunt persuaded me as always, to stay longer, this time till CNY, I can get a temporary job there and says that she will play monopoly with me until early morning as long as I promise not to cry if I lose. I'm very close with her and I know she wants me to accompany her in Sibu also, cause life is quite boring without us going back every now and then to make the house merry. And I really really really really really really (x 10000000000000000000) wanted to but I have to get back to Kuching to wait for my programming exam result to come out and prepare painfully for worse come worse....

I so not sanggup come back to Kuching one okay.....But I painfully painfully very painfully and reluctantly had to........................................So totally very very very sedih I tell you....

Books

I went to Book Castle (again) to buy 6 novels few days ago. On that spectacular sunny day after 4 days of non-stop depressing rain. I browsed for one and half hour and spent RM44! What a steal! The shop owner was a friendly person who gave my brother a stick of Mentos for free. XD
What I got:

You see only five. That's cause the other book is for my aunt.
Key of knowledge was missing from the book rack, and I thought of not buying the trilogy already, since it would be incomplete. But I thought I'd ask the shop owner if he had placed it somewhere else, and he went to dig in the storeroom for more Nora Roberts.

And he found it~~~!~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!!! Yippppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!

There were other trilogies too, but those were incomplete. Two sets of trilogies but one book was missing from each of them.
=(
I wouldn't buy incomplete trilogies cause it would mean reading the story and then leaving it hanging there or having a missing piece.

I started on Three fates last night. Only a few chapters but so far the story has been good. Plus its cheap. Which is very very important. If I were to buy it brand new from the bookshop, imagine how much it would have cost me. Plus some books might not be in print anymore. And I might not find the complete set also. Plus it would cost me RM 35.90 averaged times 5 = RM175.90.

RM175.90 versus RM44....wawawawawawawa.....so worth it right? For books.
For my standards, those books don't look like they've been read more than 5 times. Almost brand new....
"Wow"
I put the emoticon there cos it fits the situation. And to annoy the heck outta you also.

I have so many distractions, reading novels and Nana =DDDDDD. And song downloading going on as well. That's why I don't have the heart to blog.
Am going to Sibu for the holiday also this Saturday for a week or more. So you wont see me on msn.
p/s: I feel that this post is quite boring but I'm posting it anyway. Maybe I'll attempt an interesting one next time.

Hi!

Hi! If you are here, you must be directed here from Alice's old blog, on Windows Live Spaces. Or you are her friend and she gave you the link in a desperate attempt to get more hits. Or you stumbled upon this! Whatever way it is, welcome welcome welcome!
Anyways, you must be wondering why I changed my blog space to Blogger. Well one reason is, my friends kept asking me to.

Friend1: "Alice, change to blogger lah, then you can use nice nice blogger skin!
Friend2: "You know, you should change to Bloggger or other blog hosting sites."
Friend3: "Change to blogspot, when people wanna comment on your Windows Live blog they need to log in."

And other similar comments....good enough reason lah hor...

Reason 2:

I am freakishly free cause after the exams already. I need to take my mind off things. If not holiday sorry lah okay, I don't have time to set up this blog. I thought senang saja I go pick one blogger skin and hope it works lah rite. But lo and behold! Doesn't work! And I had to debug the codes...took me some time there. Plus the time I took to actually pick out one blog skin....I think I actually browsed through hundred plus layouts before I came across one that doesn't look to dark, too bright, has music, tiny fonts, or has a lame layout.
I changed the skin quite a bit, tampering with the codes, adding comment links, archive links bla bla. And got a chatbox, got a clock (cute!), counter. I also deleted the lame and boring emoticons of the chatbox and uploaded my own! Viva la onion head!

That took a long time too. Cause I had to host the gif images on photobucket and copy the codes one by one to the chatbox site! And I did it three times! *faints* Why?

Cause I am so free. =.=''
No lah, actually because after I copy pasta the links I forgot to assign shortcuts so once I save, nothing was saved! *pengsan* Feel free to use those emoticons, cause then my hard work uploading them wont be a waste lah....

Reason 3:

I thought that having a new blog with a new layout and new url would actually motivate me to blog. I hope so.
Please update the link to my blog with this new url everyone, I decided to stick with 'unwritten' cause I have no other idea what url to use. And the title's the same too.
I guess I have to end my first post here cause I have no idea again on what else I want to say.
So till my next post, tata for now!

I'm just testing out the photo uploading with this cat picture. Cute cat huh.
